Bryan Lewis Wolfe
began his insurance career with Craig & Hall Insurance
after graduating from Hanover College in Indiana with a degree in Business Administration. On January 1, 1979, Lewis bought a one-half interest in the agency from his father, Richard Hall Wolfe, Sr. and later purchased the remaining balance of the business from his long-time-partner and retired insurance executive, Gervis C. Showalter. Lewis currently serves as the President of Craig & Hall Insurance Agency Inc. and holds the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) Professional designation.
Lewis has always been deeply involved in the Georgetown community. For many years, he has been a member of the First Christian Church, Georgetown-Scott County Chamber of Commerce, PIA Professional Insurance Agents, and the National Fragile X Foundation. In addition, Lewis participates in such organizations as the Scott County Historical Society, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Scott County Special Olympics. Business affiliations include Board of Directors, Whitaker Bank, Georgetown, Director, The Lewis Company, Inc., Director, Letcher County Coal and Improvement Company, Inc, and several family partnerships.
Previous community service activities include serving on the Georgetown Municipal Water & Sewer Service Board of Commissioners, Georgetown Community Readiness Board, Leadership Scott County, and Georgetown-Scott County Jaycees.
Balancing and blending business pursuits with family pleasures, Lewis enjoys any free time with his family relaxing and boating on Lake Cumberland, playing golf, and restoring historic properties in Georgetown. Lewis and his wife Lynne have two children; a son, Bryan and a daughter, Allison.
